Local artist David Halpin has donated his 'Giraffe'portrait to Ysbyty Gwynedd's Children's Unit.

The original framed oil painting was donated to the Unit after one of David's family spent some time there as a patient. He said: "I painted it, hoping that it would bring a smile to the faces of the children."

Sandra Williams, Sister on the Children's Unit said: "We are very grateful to Mr Halpin for thinking of us and the sight of the jolly giraffe will brighten up the Unit."

'As one of the most popular local artists in the area, i'm sure it will'.
